What Happens During My Treatment?
Your provider will apply numbing cream prior to your treatment. The 3D laser technology will then begin, you will feel your provider stretching the skin and the pressure of the device, but it will be painless.
Mosaic 3D is an upgrade to existing non-ablative fractional resurfacing devices to stimulate collagen at 3 different depths. Patients describe the Mosaic treatment as a tingling sensation from multi-depth microbeams moving around a square grid pattern. Most patients describe the sensation as “mild to moderate” discomfort. The treatment time may range from 30-60 minutes.
Depending upon your expectations, you should see results showing a brighter complexion after a single treatment. However, maximum results will come with 2-3 treatments. Discuss your expectations with our office.

One of the best parts of the experience is the minimum Mosaic 3D downtime and recovery. Immediately following the treatment, you will notice some redness and possible swelling, which will lessen over the next day or so. The following 5-6 days, your skin will have a dry sandpaper-like texture. This is normal and will resolve as your skin exfoliates, revealing fresher, clearer skin. What is the Halo?
The Halo is the world’s first hybrid fractional laser. It simultaneously delivers non-ablative and ablative wavelengths in a single pass over the skin.
An ablative laser has long been considered one of the most effective treatments for improving the signs of aging. By removing the outer layers of damaged skin, the skin is forced to heal, increase collagen production and restructure, making way for tighter, rejuvenated skin. The downfall of an ablative laser is the recovery and downtime needed, often 1-2 weeks.
A non-ablative laser treatment is far less invasive with little-to-no downtime. What Happens During My Treatment?
You can expect to be at the office for 2-2 ½ hours. The first hour is spent applying the numbing cream and allowing it to take effect. The treatment itself takes 30-45 minutes. In-office recovery time is 30 minutes where a mineral water mist dissipates the heat from your skin.
Halo Results and Recovery
Immediately after your Halo treatment, a restorative skin cream will be applied to the treated areas to keep the skin moist. Swelling and redness is common and expected after treatment. The area may also feel extremely warm for 12-24 hours post op. Cold compresses will help calm the warmth in your skin and help reduce swelling.
When leaving the office, you will look like you’ve been in the sun a bit too long, but you can resume your normal business day.
On the second or third day after treatment, you will begin to notice tiny dark spots and a bronzed appearance to the treated skin. This is part of the healing process where treated tissue is working its way out of your body as new fresh skin is regenerated. During this time, your skin will be very dry and have a sandpaper texture. It will begin to flake and peel. For the face, this can last 5-7 days. If the neck, chest or anywhere else on the body was treated, this process could take up to two weeks.
After the peeling process is complete, your skin will have a rosy, pink glow that will gradually resolve. Sunscreen is a MUST throughout the entire healing process. It should be applied daily beginning the day of treatment and used vigilantly for up to three months post procedure. A post op kit will be provided to you for cleansing and exfoliating the skin. Any post treatment discomfort may be relieved by over the counter oral pain relievers.

How Does Morpheus8 Work?

The device can be used on any area of your body, with areas such as the face, neck, and abdomen being most commonly treated.

What is FaceTite?
FaceTite is a new procedure that is comparable to a surgical facelift, without the large scars. FaceTite provides dramatic improvement in skin laxity on the face and neck, which was previously only attainable through a surgical procedure such as facelift. FaceTite utilizes minimally invasive radio-frequency energy to melt fat and tighten skin.

Post procedure, most patients can go home and resume regular activities shortly after. Wearing a compression garment is required for best results.
