What Happens During My Treatment?

After your consultation with Dr. Desjarlais, our technician will attach the hands-free applicators to the areas of the body to be treated. After the treatment has started, patients can relax, listen to music, read, or simply enjoy the treatment. 

EVOLVE X Results and Recovery

In order to see optimal results, it is important for patients to stick to their scheduled treatment plan. 

There is no downtime with your EVOLVE X treatments. Patients should stay hydrated for at least the next 48 hours and avoid excessive sweating or intense exercise.

What is Lutronic ACCUFIT?

The Lutronic Accufit™ system incorporates a proprietary muscle activation treatment to target specific muscle groups for improved core strength. The core muscles of the body are the deep muscles of the back, abdomen, and pelvic floor. These muscles support a good posture and efficient movement patterns. What Happens During My Treatment?

With a 4-cycle program, patients feel a gentle contraction sensation and, as the intensity slowly increases, the muscle contraction intensifies. At the end of each cycle, a proprietary recovery cycle is implemented to “warm-down” and minimize fatigue in preparation for the next cycle.

Up to four areas can be treated in one 30-minute session. 

Most patients will need 4-5 treatments depending on their baseline condition.

Lutronic ACCUFIT Results and Recovery

Requires no recovery time. Patients may notice tingling in the areas treated for up to a few hours and/or slight muscle tenderness for 24-72 hours, similar to an intense workout.

What is VASER Liposuction?

VASER Liposuction is an advanced, minimally invasive body contouring procedure that uses ultrasound technology to gently break apart and liquefy unwanted fat before removal. This allows Dr. Desjarlais to precisely sculpt and contour the body while minimizing damage to surrounding tissue, blood vessels, and nerves.

Unlike traditional liposuction, VASER technology offers a smoother, more targeted approach with less discomfort and downtime. The procedure is performed using local anesthesia in the comfort of our office without the need for general anesthesia, large incisions or lengthy recovery periods.

What Happens During My Treatment?

Dr. Desjarlais will make very small incisions and numb the treatment area using a specialized anesthetic solution delivered through a cannula. Once the area is fully numb, the VASER ultrasound probe is inserted through the same tiny openings to gently loosen and liquefy fat cells utilizing controlled ultrasound energy. You may feel pressure or movement during treatment, but patients are typically very comfortable.

After the fat has been emulsified, gentle suction is used to remove the targeted fat and sculpt the treatment area. Procedure time varies depending on the size and number of areas being treated, but most treatments are completed within a few hours.

VASER Liposuction is minimally invasive and designed with patient safety and comfort in mind. There is no need for general anesthesia, and procedures are performed in-office rather than in a hospital or surgical center.

More than one area can often be treated during the same session, and Dr. Desjarlais will customize your treatment plan based on your goals and desired results. Treatments may also be combined with other aesthetic procedures for enhanced contouring and skin rejuvenation.

VASER Liposuction Results and Recovery

Some bruising, swelling, soreness, and drainage are normal following treatment and will gradually improve over several days depending on the treatment area and your body’s healing process.

Most patients are able to do normal activities after the procedure and return to work and light activities within just a few days. Our team will provide detailed post-treatment instructions and guide you on when to resume exercise and other activities.

A compression garment will be provided and is an important part of your recovery process. Following all aftercare instructions carefully will help optimize your healing and final results.
